This is Pappys original Southern recipe. Its kinda tangy and is good on pertnear everything. If ya DONT like it hot, this is the ONE fer ya. Course, its great on all meats, even fish and really tenderizes. Heck, its low in sodium and tenderizes cause of the P.H. level. Those other cheap-o sauces used high fructose corn syrup and load it down with salt. But not Pappys. We use blends. Three blends of sugar and molasses that will make it brown up nicely. Also, in the MILD, we use a double pepper blend thats MILD but delivers big on flavor and tang. Our red, ripe tomatoes (no paste) and select mustard seed make this all together good eatin Youll hear a hoot n holler from happy folks eatin J.T. Pappys Gator Sauce.
